What this covers

This policy covers quickwaterheater.com, run by Quick Water Heater & Filtration in San Diego, California. It explains what information we collect, how we use it and who we share it with.

What we collect

The website itself never asks for your name, phone number or address. There's no form to fill in and no account to create.

When you call, email or book with us, you give us details such as your name, phone number, email address, home address and what's wrong with your water heater. We keep them so we can price, schedule and do the work, and so we can honor your warranty later.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider receives the technical details every browser sends, such as your IP address, your browser type and the page you asked for, so it can deliver the page and keep the site secure.

We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you. It tells us which pages people read and where they came from, such as a search engine.

Online booking

The Book online links open a booking page run by Housecall Pro, the scheduling service we use. What you enter there goes to Housecall Pro and to us, and Housecall Pro's own privacy policy covers how they handle it.

Videos and the chat

Our videos are hosted on YouTube. Their preview images load from YouTube's servers, and a video only loads when you press play, in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube's privacy policy covers what it collects when you watch.

The chat answers common questions from a fixed list. What you type stays in your browser and isn't sent to us or anyone else.

How we use and share it

We use your details to answer your call or email, give you a price, schedule and do the work, send invoices, honor warranties and keep the records the law requires.

We don't sell or rent your personal information. We only share it with the services that help us do the work, such as Housecall Pro, or when the law requires it.

Cookies and Do Not Track

The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and doesn't follow you across other websites, so it works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@quickwaterheater.com or calling (619) 663 4328. We may need to keep some records, such as invoices and warranty details, where the law requires it.

Children

The site is for adults arranging work on their homes. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date at the top.
