Salt Water Softener Only Package 

• Salt softeners are the ONLY way to truly remove hard minerals from your water
• Leaves dishes and shower windows clean and scale-free
• Hard minerals will not be able to cause damage by eating into plumbing and fixtures
• Less plumbing damage will result in lower plumbing repair bills
• Extends the life of water using appliances and fixtures (except traditional water heaters)
• Reduces the amount of soap you will use for showering, dishes, and laundry
• Leaves skin and hair feeling soft and vibrant (best with 6 stage system)
• Clothing washed in soft water will last significantly longer

Cons

• All water softeners should have a whole house purification system inline before the softener
• If a whole house purification system is not installed water softener damage will occur
• Water softeners waste water down the drain in order to flush collected hard minerals. About 80 gallons every two weeks
• They can be somewhat costly to install if your home needs to be retrofitted to accept a water softener
